About Margo

I am Margo and it is an honor to support individuals on their mental health journey. My approach is collaborative and grounded, working closely with clients as they explore their experiences and pursue meaningful, lasting change. I believe the therapist – client relationship is a cornerstone of effective therapy. Building a strong foundation of mutual trust and respect is essential and I am committed to fostering a safe, supportive environment where that connection can grow. I recognize that each person’s path is unique, and I strive to meet every individual with empathy, respect, and a genuine curiosity—supporting them exactly where they are.

Sessions With Margo

As a therapist, I believe in taking a collaborative approach to help you reach your goals; you are the expert in your own life, and I am here to assist in guiding your journey. I am also here to be straightforward and transparent with you. I am passionate about providing a holistic approach to therapy and acknowledging the importance of the connection between our minds, bodies, and environments.

Relationships are powerful. Relationships with(in) ourselves, our families, our friends, our communities…see where I’m going? While these relationships are often a source of joy and love, they can also be a source of hurt and pain (and maybe even all of the above at once). We will work together to identify which relationships may need to be processed, strengthened, or healed. Throughout your therapy, you will be centered; your thoughts and your feelings…your story.

Specialties And Training

I received my Master of Social Work degree with a clinical social work concentration from Saint Mary’s
University of Minnesota in 2023. I am licensed as an Advanced Practice Social Worker (APSW) and will
be practicing as a therapist under the supervision of Jenifer Olson, LCSW. My education and field
experiences have allowed me to work directly with children, adolescents, and their families.
