About Tara

My name is Tara and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in training. I received my masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in crisis and trauma from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. I approach counseling with empathy and a commitment to meeting clients where they are. I value the therapeutic relationship as a collaborative partnership and believe that meaningful change happens when clients feel seen, heard, supported, and empowered. I am not confined to one age group or population. I am committed to providing inclusive, culturally responsive care to individuals across the lifespan. I support individuals in developing insight and fostering resilience to navigate challenges and enhance overall well-being. I have specific training in crisis and trauma that can further support my work with individuals undergoing symptoms of PTSD or have experienced altering events.

Sessions With Tara

During sessions, I hope to create a warm, welcoming space where clients feel safe to show up exactly as they are, wherever they may be that day. I want to foster an environment where they can let go of expectations, embrace their individuality, and feel comfortable bringing their most authentic selves into the room. Above all, I value taking the time to truly get to know each client and their story.
